The American Folk Ensemble (AFE) is based in Orem Utah and is composed of dancers and musicians from across the United States.

Ensemble members have represented the USA in over 70 major Folklore Festivals and events throughout Eastern and Western Europe, Canada, Mexico, South America, and Asia since 1991.

The American Folk Ensemble boasts a rich and varied repertoire with an American style and legacy that is as dynamic and expansive as the Rocky Mountain region it represents.

Our program will take you from the Appalachian Mountains, the birthplace of Clogging, to the Frontier of the Wild West.

We will dance through the ages as we highlight the great dances of America, including The Charleston, Lindy Hop, Contemporary Ballet, and the more modern County Swing.
