Group Bio

Puerta de Oro de Colombia is a Miami-based music and dance ensemble founded in 2008 that showcases Colombian folklore and culture through interactive performances, workshops, and media. Comprising about 40 artists, the group performs vibrant dances and rhythms from various Colombian regions, such as cumbia and bambuco, with the mission to preserve cultural heritage and promote understanding by "breaking down cultural boundaries". They engage audiences through live shows, television and radio features, and educational workshops with organizations like the Miami-Dade Public Libraries.
